Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect, debug, and ship production-ready solutions using AI development tools
• Take full ownership of technical projects spanning multiple services or systems
• Define technical direction, including architecture decisions, tooling choices, and engineering standards
• Work across the full stack, including frontend, backend, and infrastructure
• Collaborate with product and design to shape product outcomes

Requirements

• Deep expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python
• Extensive experience designing and operating production systems on AWS (EC2, ECS, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch)
• Proven ability to work across the full stack
• Track record of leading technical projects and defining engineering standards
• Proficiency in using AI development tools like Claude Code or Cursor to accelerate development
• Strong communication skills to align engineers and stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing scalable, high-availability distributed systems
• Experience building complex web applications with React and TypeScript at scale
• Security engineering experience
• Fintech or startup experience
• Strong product instincts and ability to drive loosely defined problems to technical solutions
