Senior Software Engineer (Python)

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain complex Airflow DAGs for pricing automation, margin reporting, and cost analysis
• Build and manage rate deck pipelines across multiple product lines
• Develop and maintain pricing APIs and services using asynchronous Python
• Analyze CDR/MDR data to identify vendor discrepancies and drive reconciliation workflows
• Build automated discrepancy resolution and self-healing pipelines
• Create and maintain financial reporting, including monthly margin reports and GP calculations
• Design and build new automation for quoting workflows

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional Python experience with strong async programming (aiohttp, asyncpg, FastAPI)
• Production experience with Airflow, including building and maintaining complex DAGs
• SQL fluency across PostgreSQL and analytical databases (Athena, BigQuery, or similar)
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Docker, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
• Ability to read and debug Java services
• Strong troubleshooting skills for digging through logs and tracing data pipelines
• Comfort owning services in production, including on-call responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the Go programming language
• Background in Telecom or CPaaS (CDRs, termination rates, origination prefixes)
• Experience with Salesforce or CRM integrations
• Experience working with pricing engines or billing systems
