Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimise high-performance, real-time video analytics pipelines
• Orchestrate decode, batching, inference, tracking, and analytics under strict latency and throughput constraints
• Own performance, reliability, and observability across the pipeline from custom GStreamer plugins to edge-to-cloud delivery
• Influence technical direction and mentor other engineers

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Deep understanding of traditional C/C++ and modern C++ (C++17/20)
• Expertise in multithreading, asynchronous programming, and concurrency management
• Proficiency in performance profiling and monitoring of C++ applications
• Experience debugging multi-threaded and real-time C++ applications with GDB
• Experience building and deploying with Docker on resource-constrained edge devices
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with NVIDIA DeepStream SDK
• Experience with GStreamer and writing custom GStreamer plugins
• CUDA and GPU programming experience (NVIDIA Jetson-class devices)
• Knowledge of encoding/decoding algorithms (H.264, H.265, MJPEG) and streaming protocols
• Experience with AWS IoT Greengrass or similar edge runtimes
• Familiarity with Python, CMake, and building observability into real-time systems
