Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own the React Native companion app from initial architecture through App Store and Google Play release, including instrumentation and post-launch iteration.
• Build and ship full-stack features across accessible React UIs, type-safe APIs, and a GraphQL layer.
• Collaborate with web, API, and design teams to ensure the mobile app shares logic and types with the web platform.
• Weigh architectural trade-offs and communicate technical decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Mentor engineers through careful code reviews and by establishing high-quality mobile and full-stack development patterns.
• Improve engineering excellence by enhancing testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and developer tooling.

Requirements

• Proven experience building and shipping mobile applications to the App Store and Google Play (React Native preferred).
• Deep full-stack expertise with React, Node.js, TypeScript, and modern cloud-native development.
• Strong system design skills with a focus on reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Production experience with AWS, modern CI/CD, and observability tools.
• Experience building accessible web applications following WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative, asynchronous, and distributed team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with oRPC/tRPC, Pulumi, and Better Auth.
• Native mobile development experience (iOS or Android) in addition to React Native.
• Previous experience working in heavily regulated or accessibility-critical environments.
