Senior Software Engineer - Product Platform

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve foundational systems, including identity and KYC infrastructure, that power Kikoff's fintech products
• Own critical platform services used by the entire engineering organization, such as furnishing systems and core capabilities
• Ensure platform services are scalable, rock-solid, and continuously improving to enable product teams to move faster
• Take end-to-end ownership of systems, from design to implementation and maintenance

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and scaling production systems
• Experience building platform services or shared infrastructure used by multiple teams
• Strong debugging instincts and the ability to investigate unusual data states
• Ability to leverage AI tools to increase productivity and ship high-quality products faster
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical complexity to various audiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Ruby on Rails
• Knowledge of identity verification and KYC processes
