Senior Software Engineer, Product Platform

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate platform systems to improve software shipping speed and confidence
• Work across deployment orchestration, CI/CD, Kubernetes, event streaming, and databases
• Partner with engineering teams to identify platform gaps and deliver pragmatic solutions
• Unify and modernize existing platforms while creating new foundational systems
• Use AI tools to accelerate development, prototyping, and system understanding
• Lead technical projects from problem framing through implementation and operational ownership
• Make technical tradeoffs between speed, reliability, and maintainability

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 3 years with a Master's degree
• Experience building or operating backend or infrastructure systems for engineering teams
• Strong software engineering fundamentals across unfamiliar systems and codebases
• Experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD, Kafka, Temporal, or observability tooling
• Proven track record of solving ambiguous technical problems
• Ability to partner with technical leaders to drive decisions
• Interest in integrating AI into the engineering workflow
