Responsibilities

• Design and build a modern cloud-native platform with Elixir at its core
• Develop advanced access control systems for fine-grained clinical data permissions
• Design infrastructure for 24/7 availability, including rolling deployments and real-time data sync
• Architect integration engines to connect medical hardware like ventilators and bedside monitors
• Rethink and optimize hospital workflows to create fast, intuitive user experiences
• Tackle complex 0-1 engineering challenges in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of professional software engineering experience
• Proficiency in object-oriented and functional programming
• Experience building products from 0 to 1 with strong product sense
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and first-principles thinking
• Ability to articulate technical decisions and trade-offs clearly
• Experience in fast-paced, collaborative, and innovative team environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with Elixir, Phoenix, Erlang, Python, or JavaScript
• Familiarity with open-source technology
• Passion for making a meaningful impact in the healthcare industry
