Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design and development of tools and technologies for integrating, processing, and visualizing data at scale
• Write production quality code while implementing your own ideas
• Participate in the full development cycle from product inception, research and prototyping to release in production
• Establish and promote agile development principles and best practices for software development
• Partner with internal and external clients to translate business needs into elegant and workable systems
• Deliver high quality, scalable data products to impact company performance

Requirements

• 6-8 years of experience in software development delivering custom data-driven solutions
• Proficiency in .NET, C#, ASP.NET, and web service development
• Experience developing web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Proficiency in Angular and other JavaScript frameworks
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases including MS SQL or Oracle
• Strong understanding of design for security, scalability, performance, and reliability
• Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
• Strong communication skills for requirement collection and technical design description

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with life science and/or healthcare related data
