Senior Software Engineer: Power BI Developer, Python AI/ML

Responsibilities

• Lead technical initiatives, including the design, coding, testing, and documentation of complex software projects.
• Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable Python code for backend services and APIs.
• Create advanced data visualizations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Grafana.
• Architect robust solutions that meet both business and non-functional requirements.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and engineers within an agile development environment.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and monitor production systems to ensure reliability and uptime.
• Provide guidance and technical direction to less experienced staff members.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional Software Engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Grafana.
• Knowledge of Python AI/ML libraries.
• Experience working with relational or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices, including observability and reliability concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with message queues such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Proficiency with version control systems like Git.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Experience using observability tools like Splunk, Prometheus, or ELK stack.
