Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own core exchange backend systems including order matching, position management, and order state
• Build and optimize the matching engine by profiling hot paths and reducing lock contention
• Design queueing and backpressure mechanisms to ensure orderbook consistency under high load
• Instrument systems with metrics, logs, and traces for high observability
• Optimize CPU, memory, and allocation behavior for high-throughput performance
• Own production incidents end-to-end, debugging latency and correctness issues

Requirements

• Senior backend engineering experience with order-book-based exchange systems
• Deep knowledge of low-latency systems, concurrency, and performance profiling
• Experience with matching engines or order state management
• Proficiency in Rust or a strong willingness to work in it
• Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, and systems design
• Strong observability fundamentals including metrics, logs, and distributed traces

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with high-frequency or low-latency trading infrastructure
• Familiarity with Redis, PostgreSQL, gRPC, and Protobuf
• Experience with Kubernetes and AWS production operations
