Senior Software Engineer, Platform

NexHealth is building the infrastructure layer for modern healthcare, connecting fragmented EHR systems into a single, modern platform that powers software, APIs, payments, and patient experiences.

Responsibilities

• Scale data processing and storage layers from terabytes to petabytes
• Build and maintain bidirectional, real-time integrations with dozens of EHRs
• Drive improvements to core systems to enable massive growth in practices and patients
• Own cross-functional projects from technical design to successful rollout
• Partner with engineering leaders and product managers to deliver ambitious goals

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on scalable back-end systems
• Deep experience with Kubernetes, AWS, and PostgreSQL
• Experience scaling storage systems and cloud-native services
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices
• Strong understanding of quality and security engineering principles
• Excellent systems-level thinking and distributed systems knowledge
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
