Senior Software Engineer - Performance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead moderately complex technical initiatives and deliverables within the performance engineering domain
• Design, code, test, debug, and document projects associated with technology upgrades and deployments
• Contribute to large-scale strategic planning for performance testing
• Resolve complex technical challenges through in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
• Collaborate with peers and mid-level managers to achieve technical goals and resolve issues
• Provide guidance, direction, and technical escalation support to less experienced staff

Requirements

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience
• Proven experience in performance testing of web-based and client-server applications
• Experience with backend testing and microservices architecture
• Proficiency in coding with at least one language such as Python, Java, or C++
• Knowledge of DevOps tools including Maven, GitHub, and Jenkins

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in scripting using VuGen and LoadRunner
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Splunk and AppDynamics
• Experience with cloud-native applications and cloud-based performance testing
• Knowledge of Resiliency, Chaos Engineering, and Service Virtualization
• Familiarity with Agile development life cycles
• Deep understanding of Heap Memory and Garbage collection concepts
