Senior Software Engineer, Payments

We are building a category-defining platform at the intersection of marketplace, SaaS, and public sector systems, increasingly powered by AI.

Responsibilities

• Build alongside a dedicated payments team to consolidate and refactor legacy system integrations
• Build and maintain integrations across banking, debit cards, Stripe, SAP, partner advances, payroll, and our billing platform
• Own the orchestration and tracking/reconciliation layer across third-party fintech partners
• Design for correctness first to ensure reliable money movement
• Work directly with customers to understand real-world failure modes and edge cases
• Partner daily with product to build, ship, measure, and iterate
• Build within the laws and regulations governing payments and financial services

Requirements

• Senior engineer with a strong payments background
• Real experience building payment systems and integrations
• Exceptionally high attention to detail
• Comfortable with the regulatory landscape around payments, banking, and cards
• Ability to work in-office in San Francisco five to six days a week

Preferred Qualifications

• Fintech industry experience
• Strong finance background
• Proficiency using AI tools
