Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Wrap perception ML models into reliable production services for an international fleet of welding robots
• Build gRPC/Protobuf service interfaces with rigorous schema versioning
• Own deployment infrastructure including containerization, CUDA/PyTorch environment management, and GPU memory budgeting
• Build observability and telemetry pipelines to surface fleet-wide perception failures
• Design data pipelines to close the active-learning loop for training services
• Establish software best practices through code review, testing, and CI/CD while mentoring engineers

Requirements

• 5+ years building production backend systems in Python
• Expertise in architecture, concurrency, performance, and API design
• Deep experience designing and operating gRPC/Protobuf services in production
• Hands-on experience with containerized deployment, Linux, and GPU compute
• Experience building developer tools, frameworks, or platforms for ML/CV teams
• Familiarity with ML and computer vision workflows such as training loops and point clouds
