Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Participate in regular code reviews
• Standardize technologies, approaches, and architectures across teams
• Engage with development teams on all areas of software development
• Liaise with agile coaches and product owners to resolve impediments
• Drive architectural changes in projects and deliver on initiatives
• Monitor the software development process for continuous improvement
• Resolve production issues timeously to minimize business impact

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience as a Software Engineer or Developer
• Ability to develop in .Net 8 C#, Javascript, ReactJs, HTML, and CSS
• Excellent knowledge of Postgres and Mssql (EF, NHibernate)
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as Redis, Riak, or MongoDB
• Experience developing web applications and understanding web architecture
• Proven experience in high-scale applications
• Experience with unit testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• Understanding of DevOps principles
• Experience with cloud services (AWS or Azure)
• Experience with containerization (Docker, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, or Appveyor)
• Experience working with agile methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• IT Diploma or Degree
• Polyglot programming capabilities
