Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve service-based architectures and distributed systems to modernize legacy platforms.
• Translate complex orthodontic insurance rules, including claims and eligibility, into high-performing technical solutions.
• Take end-to-end ownership of Epics, managing risks, dependencies, and delivery reliability.
• Develop robust full-stack code using React on the frontend and .NET Core/.NET Framework on the backend.
• Champion AI-assisted engineering by integrating tools like Claude or GitHub Copilot to automate design, testing, and code reviews.
• Set rigorous standards for code quality through constructive reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or a Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 10+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 4+ years in a Senior Software Engineer role.
• Proficiency in the .NET ecosystem (.NET Core / .NET Framework).
• Extensive experience building responsive user interfaces with React and/or Angular.
• Strong SQL Server skills and experience with relational database design and query optimization.
• Practical experience applying Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.
• Proficiency with AWS or other major cloud architectures and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and monitoring tools like Datadog.
• Domain knowledge in orthodontic/dental billing, medical insurance, or healthcare fintech.
• Experience designing APIs with GraphQL or using ElasticSearch.
• Demonstrated experience leveraging Gen AI and agentic workflows to optimize development velocity.
