Senior Software Engineer (Oracle EPM & Hyperion)

Responsibilities

• Lead full-lifecycle Oracle EPM Cloud implementations from requirement gathering through deployment and support.
• Design complex BSO and ASO Essbase cubes, data models, and entity dimensions to optimize performance.
• Author custom Business Rules, advanced Calculation Scripts, Member Formulas, and intercompany elimination rules.
• Build automated data pipelines using EPM Automate for batch scripting and job scheduling.
• Integrate On-Premise Hyperion environments and Oracle GL using ODI and FDMEE.
• Develop advanced reports and user interfaces utilizing Data Management, Data Maps, and Smart View.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for corporate finance teams and lead UAT cycles.

Requirements

• 6-7 years of technical engineering experience in Oracle EPM/Hyperion ecosystems.
• Expert-level proficiency in EPBCS/PBCS (Planning) and FCCS (Consolidation & Close).
• Advanced knowledge of Calc Scripts, Business Rules, Member Formulas, and EPM Automate.
• Deep expertise in Data Management, Data Maps, and Smart View.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA in Finance or a strong financial functional background.
• Practical exposure to Groovy Scripting and EPM REST APIs.
• Experience with On-Premise Hyperion Suite integration using ODI and FDMEE.
• Oracle EPM Cloud Planning or Financial Consolidation and Close Implementation Professional certifications.
