Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services and APIs used by Oracle Health product teams.
• Deliver features end-to-end, including technical design, implementation, automated testing, and deployment.
• Participate in code and design reviews and contribute to engineering best practices like CI/CD and observability.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues and participate in on-call and incident response.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including SRE, Security, and Product teams.
• Apply an AI-first engineering approach to accelerate delivery, improve code quality, and enhance documentation.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in one or more languages such as Java, C#, Go, or Python.
• Experience building REST and/or gRPC services.
• Working knowledge of RDBMS and/or NoSQL data stores and distributed systems fundamentals.
• Experience with modern engineering practices including source control and automated testing.
• U.S. citizenship is required due to security clearance requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts like RBAC/ABAC and least privilege.
• Exposure to user provisioning services and lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with SSO patterns and standards such as OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, or SCIM.
• Cloud experience with OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
