Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize global services for satellite connectivity
• Lead end-to-end architecture of a global distributed control plane
• Build and own customer-facing and internal control-plane APIs
• Architect real-time TT&C and data-transfer interfaces
• Design control systems for ground station hardware and embedded systems
• Architect high-bandwidth data pipelines and SD-WAN overlays
• Create comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and global telemetry solutions
• Develop production line software and automated testing procedures
• Create simulations for satellite and network design

Requirements

• 5-7+ years of professional software development experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, or a related major
• Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (ITAR compliance)

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Rust, Golang, or C/C++
• Experience with distributed systems and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of hardware control systems, FPGA, or embedded systems (FreeRTOS, Zephyr)
• Proficiency in networking, IP protocols, and high-speed communications
• Experience with RESTful APIs and front-end technologies (JavaScript, TypeScript, React, or Angular)
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack
• Proficiency with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) or time-series databases (InfluxDB, TimescaleDB)
