Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade routing and WAN technologies for professional networking products
• Implement routing features including IPv4/IPv6, static routing, and policy-based routing (PBR)
• Manage Multi-WAN, failover, load-balancing, and dynamic routing protocols
• Handle WAN technologies such as DHCP, PPPoE, NAT/NAPT, and firewall interactions
• Ensure high availability through link health monitoring and failover logic
• Optimize performance and scalability and integrate with platform services and cloud management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 9-12 years of relevant work experience
• Strong C programming skills
• Exposure to Embedded Linux and the Linux networking stack
• Knowledge of networking protocols including TCP/IP, VPN, NAT, and Firewall
• Experience with Netfilter, iptables, or nftables
• Proficiency in routing tables, policy rules, and metrics
• Ability to perform system diagnostics and packet analysis
• Understanding of RFC standards related to routing, DHCP, IP, and ICMP
• Familiarity with Linux VPNs and cryptography basics
