Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, lead, and implement multi-week complex and cross-team projects
• Estimate forward-looking work and measure metrics aligned with company goals
• Manage, publish, and update goals for area of responsibility
• Act as the company expert in area of ownership
• Mentor new and junior engineers
• Ensure company standards are upheld for code, testing, design, and review
• Participate in evaluating and selecting technologies for software foundation

Requirements

• 8+ years experience as a software engineer in a team environment
• Strong programming in C++, Rust, or Python
• B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field
• Proven capability to quickly learn new programming languages and development environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in embedded software, robotics, or autonomy
• Training in physics, statistics, computational mathematics, or electrical engineering
• Prior experience in aerospace software
