Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build scalable backend services, CI/CD pipelines, build systems, toolchains and platforms
• Partner with engineering teams to identify pain-points and improve development workflows
• Improve system reliability, performance, scalability, and observability across distributed systems
• Monitor system performance and health to proactively resolve issues
• Contribute to system architecture decisions and technical roadmaps

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years in Software Engineering or related roles
• Strong background in Python, Go, or C++
• Experience with Unix-like environments and toolchains
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins), cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Expertise in the software development lifecycle

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the AV industry or robotics
• Deep expertise with mono-repo tools like Bazel
• Experience with on-call support for P1 & P0 systems
• Experience with AI/LLM integration and Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers
