Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build scalable backend services, CI/CD pipelines, build systems, toolchains and platforms
• Improve system reliability, performance, scalability, and observability across distributed systems
• Partner with engineering teams to optimize AWS spend and cloud infrastructure efficiency
• Monitor system performance and health to proactively resolve issues
• Contribute to system architecture decisions and technical roadmaps

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years in SRE or DevOps related roles
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins)
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong background in Python, Go, or C++
• Expertise in the software development lifecycle

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the AV industry or robotics
• Expertise with mono-repo tools like Bazel
• Experience on-call for P1 & P0 systems
• Experience with AI/LLM integration and Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
