Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend and frontend solutions using Python-based frameworks and modern web technologies
• Architect and operate reliable, cost-efficient applications on cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
• Design, enhance, and test REST APIs and system integrations to ensure seamless interoperability
• Write secure, efficient, and testable code following best practices for authentication, authorization, and data protection
• Lead code reviews to uphold engineering standards and promote maintainability across the team
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members to support skill development
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Contribute to CI/CD improvements and DevOps practices to streamline deployments

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience building production-ready backend services using Python (Django, FastAPI, or Flask)
• Frontend experience with React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Proven experience developing and operating containerized or serverless applications on AWS and/or Azure
• Strong proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Hands-on experience with Git, Docker, and Unix-like environments
• Experience with automated testing and API testing
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation
• Experience with Microsoft Teams app development
• Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts and interest in responsible AI practices
