Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect, configure, and integrate high-performance IBM Sterling Order Management (DOM) solutions for DTC supply chain operations.
• Customize Sterling DOM modules including sourcing, scheduling, and payments.
• Design new OMS components and microservices using Java/J2EE, XML, and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Integrate OMS with ERP, eCommerce, CRM, WMS, and logistics systems.
• Manage the DTC development backlog by translating business requirements into prioritized technical tasks.
• Optimize system performance and configure cloud/containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines, environment monitoring, and on-call rotations for production systems.
• Mentor junior engineers in Sterling DOM best practices and integration strategies.
• Author technical design documents, system diagrams, and user guides.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience with IBM Sterling DOM/OMS (version 10+).
• Proficiency in Java/J2EE (Servlets, EJB, JSP), XML/XSD/XSL, and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Strong experience with SQL and asynchronous messaging (MQ, JMS).
• Hands-on experience with containerized/cloud platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in UNIX/Linux environments and middleware like WebSphere or MQ Series.
• Ability to work onsite in Hyderabad 4 days a week, aligned with US EST time zone.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Sterling DOM GEO-distributed environments and microservices.
• Background in WMS/YMS integrations or broader Supply Chain Management (SCM) suites.
• Professional certifications in IBM Sterling, Java, or cloud platforms.
