About the role

Responsibilities

  • Champion a continuous improvement mindset through the use of AI and automation in software engineering processes.
  • Lead end-to-end development efforts for medium complexity features, from technical design through completion.
  • Mentor less experienced team members to accelerate software engineering maturity and encourage ongoing learning.
  • Perform coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting for projects of moderate to high complexity.
  • Partner with the architecture organization to design, modernize, and implement enterprise applications.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to the software development lifecycle and agile engineering best practices.
  • Translate user requirements and solution architecture into detailed design specifications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant IT experience.
  • Proven experience as a full-stack developer.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft technology stack, including C#, Blazor, .NET Core, and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and DevSecOps principles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • AZ-204 Certification.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas Commercial industry.
  • Experience with VGL (Visual Graphics Language) for Sample Manager LIMS workflows.
