Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Help establish roadmaps and architecture based on technology and business needs
• Unblock, support, effectively communicate, and obtain buy-in across teams to achieve results
• Lead projects of multiple people from idea to positive execution
• Write well-crafted, well-tested, readable, maintainable code
• Utilize expertise in Python, Golang, AWS, and AI to deliver robust and scalable solutions
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge
• Proactively participate in resolving ongoing incidents and oncall rotations
• Share knowledge through tech talks, mentorship, and evangelizing engineering best practices

Requirements

• BS/MS or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 5+ years of software engineering industry experience
• Extensive experience in object oriented programming, ideally in Python or GoLang
• Experience in backend software development of large-scale distributed systems, concurrency and NoSQL databases
• Experience working with public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure)
• Proven track record of leading the design and launch of multiple components from concept to production
• Strong oral and written communication skills
