Senior Software Engineer IV - Perl

Responsibilities

• Write code to support website functionality and develop new features
• Maintain and support web applications and core enterprise systems using Perl
• Troubleshoot technical issues and update existing codebases
• Work closely with web designers and other developers to create user-friendly interfaces
• Write code to integrate with third-party applications
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation

Requirements

• Extensive experience with the Perl programming language
• Proficiency with databases such as MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server
• Experience with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• BS in Computer Science or an equivalent degree

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Python or a strong willingness to learn Python
• Experience with AWS cloud services
