Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance, scalable microservices in Java for the Streamline platform
• Build and operate the workflow orchestration engine using Temporal to execute durable, long-running processes
• Design fault-tolerant, distributed systems that guarantee correctness and recoverability
• Implement AI-based solutions to automate routing, decisioning, and self-healing workflows
• Integrate AI agents into the platform to support autonomous workflow execution
• Architect solutions meeting strict compliance requirements such as HIPAA, SOC 2, and PCI DSS
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical decision-making
• Implement robust error handling, observability, and automated recovery mechanisms

Requirements

• Strong expertise in Java and Spring frameworks
• Strong experience with Temporal or comparable workflow orchestration engines
• Experience with distributed workflow design
• Experience building microservices and multi-tenant solutions
• Hands-on experience running services on Kubernetes with cloud platforms and CI/CD
• Proven experience delivering scalable APIs and reliable backend services

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Node.js and TypeScript for tooling and performance-test suites
• Working knowledge of modern frontend frameworks like React or Vue
