Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Architect and evolve cloud infrastructure on AWS using Kubernetes, ECS, Lambda, and EC2
• Collaborate with engineering, ML, and data science leadership to shape platform vision
• Develop tooling to improve engineering productivity and developer experience
• Promote sustainable incident response and lead blameless post-incident reviews
• Manage network and systems monitoring and participate in an equitable on-call rotation

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on infrastructure or platform development experience
• Extensive experience operating Kubernetes in production
• Proficiency in Python and/or Bash
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like CDK, Terraform, or Pulumi
• Strong familiarity with AWS and/or GCP services
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and Linux command-line environments
• Experience designing complex systems and mentoring others

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep Linux troubleshooting skills (kernel and driver issues)
• Experience in regulated environments like HIPAA
• Background in healthcare, security, or machine learning
• Familiarity with HL7 or radiology workflows
• Experience with OpenTelemetry, Grafana, or Spark/Hadoop technologies
