Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the Developer Experience strategy to improve tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and internal platforms.
• Design and implement automation for provisioning, monitoring, deployment, and operational workflows to reduce toil.
• Harden infrastructure across the stack and implement security best practices at the platform level.
• Evolve the platform to natively support AI/ML workloads, including experimentation pipelines and model serving.
• Own production systems by building observability into everything and leading incident response.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software or infrastructure engineering experience.
• Deep experience with AWS services including EKS, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, and IAM.
• Strong Kubernetes fundamentals regarding deployment, scaling, networking, and debugging.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).
• Familiarity with observability stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems concepts like consistency and fault tolerance.
• Intermediate or higher English proficiency (reading, writing, listening, and speaking).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in EdTech or building products for learners and educators.
• Familiarity with search and discovery systems.
• Experience with payment APIs such as Stripe.
• Background in marketplace technologies or fast-paced, high-growth startups.
