Senior Software Engineer (Infrastructure)

Responsibilities

• Adapt, own, and maintain infrastructure for large enterprise customers in the federal/defense space
• Improve and continuously evaluate security configurations in self-hosted environments
• Support customers in establishing and implementing compliant architectures
• Contribute directly to the product codebase to improve deployability, security, observability, and reliability
• Manage technical issues requiring deep debugging in novel environments

Requirements

• Strong engineering foundation with ability to build and maintain complex distributed systems
• Demonstrated facility with production Kubernetes clusters
• Experience diagnosing and resolving distributed systems failures
• Experience with IaC tools such as Pulumi or Terraform
• Comfort navigating unfamiliar codebases

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting regulated environments like FedRAMP, CMMC, NIST SP 800-53, or IL-5/6
• Previous experience as a forward-deployed engineer in the government sector
• TS/SCI clearance
