Responsibilities
- Lead the transition of global Cloud OTA infrastructure toward a Kubernetes-native control plane using Crossplane
- Design and develop resilient microservices in Java, Python, and Go
- Implement and optimize GitOps workflows with Argo CD and GitLab CI/CD
- Maintain technical ownership of the AWS ecosystem, including EKS, Lambda, DynamoDB, and S3
- Establish observability standards using Datadog and Prometheus
- Provide technical authority and mentorship to the Belgrade engineering team
Requirements
- 5 years of experience blending Software Engineering and Infrastructure/DevOps
- Proficiency in backend development with Java, Python, or Go
- Deep experience with Terraform or Terragrunt
- Extensive knowledge of the AWS ecosystem (EKS, IAM, VPC, Lambda)
- Proficiency with Kubernetes, Argo CD, Helm, and Kustomize
- Experience supporting high-scale production environments
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
