Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Design and operate highly available, fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure on AWS to support petabyte-scale data ingestion and processing
• Manage and evolve streaming and batch data pipeline infrastructure using tools like Kafka, Kinesis, or Flink
• Drive infrastructure-as-code practices using Terraform or Pulumi
• Define SLOs, build observability stacks, and lead incident response and on-call rotations
• Implement security-first infrastructure including zero-trust networking and secrets management
• Support AI/ML workloads, GPU training pipelines, and large-scale data warehouses
• Mentor engineers and contribute to technical roadmaps

Requirements

• 5+ years of infrastructure or DevOps/platform engineering experience in production cloud environments at scale
• Deep expertise in AWS (GCP or Azure experience is a plus)
• Strong infrastructure-as-code skills with Terraform or Pulumi
• Hands-on experience with high-throughput streaming data infrastructure like Kafka, Kinesis, or Flink
• Solid Linux systems knowledge including networking, storage, and performance tuning
• Experience operating observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog
• Security-minded approach to IAM, secrets management, and network security controls
