Senior Software Engineer in Test

Responsibilities

• Own test strategy planning, prioritization, execution, and maintenance for the FundsCore platform
• Determine test coverage and types of tests required through deep understanding of user stories and system design
• Drive the migration from manual testing to automated testing methods to ensure engineering excellence
• Build, extend, and customize testing frameworks to meet the team's needs
• Participate in the full software development life cycle, including system design and bug fixes
• Ensure operational excellence by performing on-call duties and maintaining observability standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of relevant software development experience
• Proficiency in Golang or Python for automation and tooling
• Proven experience building test suites, using mocks, and improving test coverage/reliability
• Solid understanding of system architecture, including APIs, databases, and services
• Strong English communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify edge cases and root causes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Payments domain, specifically with settlement and reconciliation
• Experience applying Generative AI to enhance work productivity
• Experience with observability, security, and data governance practices
