Senior Software Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering architecture design reviews and set a high technical bar for the team
• Drive architecture decisions for high-availability, mission-critical cloud services
• Mentor and up-level engineers through hands-on teaching and code reviews
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to create integrated, customer-centric solutions
• Build scalable services that adhere to strict availability and latency requirements
• Improve engineering processes, including sprint planning and long-term technical thinking

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of professional software development experience
• Proven experience designing and delivering highly-available, scalable cloud-based systems
• Backend service experience in managed languages such as Java, Scala, Go, or C#
• Experience working with SQL or NoSQL data stores
