Senior Software Engineer, IAM

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and maintain highly resilient and scalable microservices critical to user management, authentication, and permissions.
• Collaborate with UX, PM, QA, and other engineers to build high-performance web and mobile applications.
• Define best practices and help select technologies to evolve the current tech stack.
• Champion code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and thorough code reviews.
• Tackle scaling challenges and diagnose performance bottlenecks to optimize system efficiency.
• Mentor other team members and provide technical design feedback.
• Monitor feature rollouts to ensure customer success and iterate based on production performance.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, or another object-oriented language with a deep understanding of testing and best practices.
• In-depth understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and enterprise messaging.
• Experience working in the Identity and Access Management (IAM) space.
• Familiarity with asynchronous communication tools such as Kafka, Pulsar, or JMS.
• Proven track record of delivering reliable services to production environments.
• Experience working within an Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for stakeholders.
