About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, architect, implement, and operate real-time stream processing systems on AWS
- Build tooling and infrastructure that powers milliseconds-level decision making
- Support transfer processing, validation, fraud detection, and AML checks
- Provide data movement into the data lake for analytics and product decision making
- Help product engineers use stream processing tooling effectively and define best practices
- Improve availability, security, automation, and ease of use across the platform
Requirements
- Experience with Flink and/or Kafka Streams
- Production coding experience with Java and Spring
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools
- Experience building and operating distributed systems at scale
- Ability to analyze complex requirements and deliver simple, reliable solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS-based platform engineering
- Familiarity with Apache Iceberg and K8s operators
- Strong understanding of stream processing and real-time data pipelines
- Experience working in highly automated, reusable platform environments
