Senior Software Engineer I

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy tools and services that power operational data access
• Collaborate with engineering teams across multiple verticals to deliver scalable infrastructure
• Develop and maintain applications, services, and platforms that scale with business needs
• Build automation and tools for efficient data discovery and access
• Own services end-to-end from architecture through deployment and production support

Requirements

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
• At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience
• Expertise in Python development and backend architecture
• Experience deploying services at scale with CI/CD and containerization
• Strong Git skills
• Experience with Kubernetes or similar orchestration tools
• Hands-on experience designing and developing REST APIs
• Familiarity with issue tracking tools like Jira or Redmine

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with Pandas and Numpy
• Experience building ETL pipelines
• Experience in data visualization and data science
• Familiarity with agile development practices
• SQL database knowledge
• Experience with web and user interface development
