About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead implementation of key software technologies in the BuildAI platform
- Serve as a technical expert in business-critical problem areas and industry trends
- Design, develop, test, and deploy reusable web-based components, libraries, and APIs
- Collaborate with UX designers to enhance the Design System and implement new workflows
- Mentor and grow the technical competencies of the organization
- Manage relationships between authored model data, backend data, and rendering
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
- 5+ years of experience as a technical leader
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience developing web-based front end applications
- Experience developing REST APIs
- Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with React, Redux, and RxJs
- Experience as a technical leader at a startup
- Experience working with Component libraries
- Experience with AWS Lambda, Serverless, and AWS CDK
- Experience with PostgreSQL and GraphQL
- Experience with Docker
- Familiarity with modern CI/CD workflows like GitHub, Jenkins, or Travis
