Senior Software Engineer I, Frontend

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of key front-end software technologies in the BuildOS product
• Serve as a technical expert in business-critical problem areas and industry trends
• Design, develop, test, and deploy reusable web-based components and libraries
• Collaborate with UX designers to enhance the Design System and implement new workflows
• Mentor and grow the technical competencies of the organization
• Work with backend engineers to manage data relationships and rendering

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering
• 5+ years of experience shipping production software and leading projects
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Experience developing web-based front end applications
• Proficiency with Node.js and TypeScript

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with React, Redux, and RxJs
• Previous technical leadership experience in a startup environment
• Experience with Component libraries and UX Design Systems
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, GraphQL, and DynamoDB
• Experience working with REST APIs
• Experience with Flutter, React Native, or Android
• Familiarity with modern CI/CD workflows like GitHub, Jenkins, or Travis
