Senior Software Engineer I

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive critical projects by designing, developing, and maintaining scalable microservices.
• Define and design loosely coupled, scalable systems using industry best practices.
• Write clean, maintainable, extendable, and testable code for impactful systems.
• Build, own, and operate systems to ensure high levels of resilience and service.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, across a large engineering community.
• Mentor junior team members and assist in their technical development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in C# .NET, Java, or Go.
• Strong understanding of software development principles in a backend or full-stack environment.
• Experience working in Agile environments and delivering high-quality code under tight deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• AI proficiency or a strong curiosity to embrace new technologies to enhance productivity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience or knowledge within the payments or financial services industry.
