Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Base24-eps payment switch applications and interfaces
• Implement and support ISO8583, EMV, POS, and ATM transaction flows
• Develop solutions using TACL, TAL, SCOBOL, COBOL, and C/C++
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide permanent resolutions
• Perform performance tuning, system optimization, and capacity planning
• Support platform upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams for production releases
• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and audit standards

Requirements

• 5–12 years of experience in Base24-eps development and support
• Strong expertise in HP NonStop/Tandem systems
• Deep understanding of ISO8583, EMV, and POS/ATM transaction processing
• Experience integrating with card schemes, host banking systems, and third-party processors
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and production support skills
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Base24 Classic or other payment switch platforms
• Exposure to HSMs, Tokenization, Fraud detection systems, or Risk engines
• Knowledge of cloud-based payment architectures
• Prior experience working with banking or financial services clients
