Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based software tools for optical signature modeling and spectral sensor data processing
• Build and optimize data pipelines for large-scale scientific and sensor datasets
• Develop and integrate machine learning workflows into operational toolsets
• Create software architecture documentation and workflow diagrams
• Test, validate, and troubleshoot algorithms in development and classified environments
• Manage Git repositories with clean commits and reproducible builds

Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI and CI polygraph
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field
• 9+ years of professional software development experience (or 7+ years with a Master's degree)
• Expert-level Python programming and object-oriented design
• Experience with data-intensive workflows such as sensor or scientific data
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux environments
• Familiarity with Git, GitLab, Bitbucket, Jira, or Jenkins

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with optical signature modeling, EO/IR sensor data, or hyperspectral processing
• Familiarity with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn
• Experience with NumPy, pandas, OpenCV, or SciPy
• Background in signal processing, image processing, or remote sensing
• Proficiency in C, C++, MATLAB, Java, or Rust
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and DevSecOps
