Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and code moderately complex applications using front and back-end programming languages across multiple platforms
• Analyze existing applications and formulate logic for new procedures, flowcharting, and debugging
• Perform testing, validation, and corrective measures for code deficiencies to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Participate in client-facing meetings and vendor partnership discussions to determine solution approaches
• Support the enforcement of business and infrastructure application standards, including PCI security compliance
• Provide guidance and on-the-job training to other software engineers

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in coding, designing, developing, and analyzing data
• Advanced knowledge of one or more front/back-end languages and experience with various APIs and external services
• Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL)
• Experience with operating systems such as Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS/RHEL), Windows, or Tandem/HP-Nonstop
• Proficiency in C/C++ and scripting in Shell, Perl, or Python

Preferred Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems
• Experience with card payment networks such as Visa, Mastercard, Amex, or Discover
• Working knowledge of ISO 8583, EMV standards, and other payment network protocols
