Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and code moderately complex software solutions using front-end and back-end programming languages
• Manage the full software development life cycle, including debugging, testing, implementation, and validation
• Analyze existing applications and formulate logic for new procedures, flowcharts, and programs
• Participate in client-facing meetings and vendor partnership discussions to determine solution approaches
• Provide guidance and on-the-job training to other software engineers
• Support the enforcement of business and infrastructure application standards, including PCI security compliance

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business/Management Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in coding, designing, developing, and analyzing data
• Proficiency in multiple modern programming languages and experience working with various APIs and external services
• Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases
• Strong knowledge of front-end and back-end technologies

Preferred Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional experience in software development and data analysis
• Experience with IBM Rational Tools
