About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Android SDKs used by external developers and partners
- Build robust, reusable, and modular components with clear documentation
- Integrate with backend APIs, testing frameworks, payment devices, and platform services
- Optimize performance, memory management, and battery consumption
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Android OS and device fragmentation
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and QA teams to deliver high-quality features
- Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and provide technical mentorship to junior developers
- Ensure SDK stability, backward compatibility, and versioning best practices
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automation, and release processes
Requirements
- 5–9 years of hands-on Android development experience
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java
- Deep understanding of Android frameworks, Jetpack components, and modern patterns (MVVM/MVI/Clean Architecture)
- Solid understanding of Android lifecycle and core components
- Experience with multithreading using Coroutines or RxJava
- Proficiency with Dependency Injection (Hilt/Dagger) and Networking (Retrofit/OkHttp)
- Experience with the Gradle build system
- Strong debugging skills using Android Studio tools, ADB, and performance profilers
- Experience with unit testing, instrumentation tests, and automation
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI
- Strong communication and documentation skills
