Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and code moderately complex software solutions using front-end and back-end programming languages.
• Manage the full software development life cycle, including debugging, testing, implementing, and validating applications.
• Analyze existing applications and formulate logic for new procedures, flowcharting, and program development.
• Participate in client-facing meetings and vendor partnership discussions to determine technical solution approaches.
• Support the enforcement of business and infrastructure application standards, ensuring compliance with PCI security standards.
• Provide guidance and on-the-job training to other software engineers.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business/Management Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in coding, designing, developing, and analyzing data.
• Advanced knowledge of one or more front-end or back-end languages and a moderate understanding of the corresponding counterpart.
• Proven experience working with various APIs and external services.
• Experience working with both relational and NoSQL databases.

Preferred Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional experience in coding, designing, developing, and analyzing data.
• Experience with IBM Rational Tools.
• Familiarity with various operating systems such as Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS/RHEL, Amazon Linux), Windows, or z/OS.
