Senior Software Engineer (Generalist)

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of both frontend and backend applications, guiding and mentoring other engineers.
• Architect core systems, including real-time job matching algorithms and autonomous worker vetting pipelines powered by ML and AI agents.
• Design and build scalable web and mobile applications, distributed systems, and APIs.
• Partner with product and design teams to create seamless user experiences and maintain high UI/UX standards.
• Establish best practices for code reusability, performance, and build processes.
• Implement monitoring systems to track application health and proactively resolve performance issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full stack experience in both frontend and backend technologies.
• Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, React/React Native, and Node.js or Python.
• Strong experience building APIs, distributed systems, and client-side state management.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and messaging systems such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Experience with tools like Docker, GitHub Actions, and Datadog.
• Proven ability to ship high-quality products in a fast-paced, early-stage environment.

• Previous experience working on founding engineering teams.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity and demonstrate a self-starter attitude.
• A passion for building technology that solves real-world supply chain and labor challenges.
