Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead technical efforts spanning multiple months across a large-scale system
• Propose technical designs considering standard patterns, tradeoffs, and maintainability
• Dive into unfamiliar code to troubleshoot or add new features
• Participate in feature development and technical leadership for smaller projects
• Provide thorough and meaningful code reviews
• Implement and maintain DevOps cloud patterns
• Participate in support tasks, including off-hours and weekend on-call rotations

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing back-end services and APIs in a distributed, service-oriented architecture
• 5+ years of experience building large-scale front-end applications using modern frameworks
• 5+ years of experience with data modeling using multiple database and storage types
• 3+ years of experience designing and deploying services in the cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure, or OCI)
• Proficiency in at least 3 software languages (Python, C#, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior healthcare or health tech experience
• Experience in regulated industries with data privacy and compliance requirements
• Experience with Kubernetes
